About Us

The Hollywood Farmers’ Market, founded in 1991, was one of just a few farmers’ markets in all of California when it opened. It became an immediate success – bringing together farmers and food vendors from Los Angeles and across the state.

Today, the Hollywood Farmers’ Market is the largest in Los Angeles and hosts over 160 farmers, producers, food vendors and artisans who specialize in a wide variety of crops that are grown seasonally around the state and a large variety of culinary perspectives and practices from around the globe. Everyone from local families who live in the neighborhood to some of Southern California’s most respected chefs use the market as their for their weekly shopping. With the call of the bugle, the market begins each Sunday morning.

The Hollywood Farmers Market is also a community meeting place with a wide-range of activities and offerings that include live music, activities for children, and book-signings by some of the most celebrated authors in the food world.

At the market, you can use your EBT benefits to purchase your groceries, which are matched through the GUSNIP and LA County ARP Market Match program, up to $15 a week for fresh fruits and vegetables. WIC and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program checks (FMNP) are also accepted. Stop by the information booth for more details!
